Can pink noise improve your poor sleep? Get involved in our research!
Are you struggling to fall asleep, stay asleep, or waking up too early? Do sleep problems affect your functioning during the day?
Join our new study examining the effect of pink noise on sleep quality.
We are looking for volunteers:
- with chronic insomnia aged 18-45,
- without serious associated illnesses,
- who are not currently using antidepressants or hypnotics.
Pink noise is played to volunteers in response to their brain activity. This new method (neurofeedback acoustic stimulation) is completely non-invasive and safe. We would like to determine whether sleep and its quality can be improved in people with insomnia using this new method.
How does the study work?
- Telephone assessment of health and sleep problems
- Sleep examination in the NUDZ laboratory
- Home sleep monitoring with an EEG headband for 8 weeks
- Continuous completion of questionnaires and cognitive tests
What can you gain?
- Reward of up to 3000 CZK, depending on the extent of participation
- Experience with one of the most advanced home sleep monitoring technologies
- Opportunity to contribute to the understanding of new methods of improving sleep
