Visit us at Science Fair 30/5-1/6
Visit our booth at the largest scientific fair and explore the world of mental health research! The National Institute of Mental Health (NUDZ) is a unique institution in Central Europe, located under one roof in Klecany, Central Bohemia, encompassing a wide range of activities: medical education in psychiatry and clinical psychology, technology transfer and applied research, provision of quality clinical care, primary research, and numerous supportive and destigmatization programs.
What can you expect?
The application of virtual reality in comprehensive mental health care. Using VR, we can place you, for example, in a room with hidden spiders or on the roof of a tall building, where you can bravely confront your fears and anxieties. The use of VR helps in therapy for individuals with anxiety or various phobias.
Introduction of sleep research and chronobiology
Our goal is to improve the objective diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep disorders and circadian rhythm disorders through experimental psychopharmacology and clinical studies.
What does a comprehensive clinical study in psychiatry look like?
Here, we aim to develop an information system for comprehensive personalized care in psychosis, which includes clinical data along with results from neuroimaging (MRI), biochemical, immunological, proteomic, neurocognitive, and genetic data.
See you there!
