The project responds to the current situation, where more than 90% of cases of discrimination, violence and attacks on Czech LGBTI persons based on sexual orientation and gender identity are not reported and therefore not investigated. NIMH, as a partner in this project, has the task of making available new tools for improving the quality of data collection on manifestations of intolerance towards LGBTI in the Czech Republic and contributing to the harmonization of data standards that would also allow international comparisons (for example with other data, such as the Eurobarometer survey or FRA surveys ).

The overall goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of LGBTI people in the Czech Republic and to increase the cohesion of Czech society through a systematic movement in the fight against intolerance towards LGBTI people, especially in the area of prevention of these expressions of hate, using a holistic approach.
