Annotation

This project aims at the use of microfluidic technology for ideally fast and sensitive online detection of circulating proteins and for the purposes of pharmacogenetics. During the project, the conditions for the detection of selected markers based on microfluidic technology, including its basic elements, various starting materials for specific biomarkers will be optimized for the diagnosis of brain diseases, including brain cancer and related diseases. Compared to traditional methods such as PCR, ELISA or DNA probes, microfluidic devices allow a flexible combination of multiple operating units, including a control unit, so that some steps such as sample pretreatment, mixing or reaction can be integrated into a single biochip.
