The ILIA project aims to reduce the risk of relapse in patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorders through digital technology. The innovative system includes a mobile app and a web-based platform that allow monitoring of the warning signs of relapse. Patients in the intervention group regularly complete a questionnaire, the results of which are accessible to both patients and physicians. If a set threshold is exceeded, the system generates an alert, allowing for an immediate response and possible treatment adjustment.
The aim of the project is to reduce the number of hospital admissions, improve adherence to treatment, enhance shared decision-making between patients and physicians, and improve the overall quality of life of patients.
