Mgr. Ondřej Vaníček (formerly Novák) works at the Center for Sexual Health and Interventions as a junior researcher. His specialization includes psychophysiological measurements using polygraph, methodology, and statistics. The main area of interest are cognitive processing of sexually-loaded stimuli and male genital response measurement employing penile plethysmography (PPG, also known as phallometry) both volumetric and circumferential. He is an alumnus and PhD student at department of psychology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University. While he works at the National Institute of Mental Health since 2017, he cooperates and works also at Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, and Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice.
