Katarína studied psychology at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and is currently studying for a PhD in Neuroscience at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of the same university.

Since the beginning of her studies she has been researching chronotype (early birds, night owls) and sleep. During her studies she also completed an accredited course in Health Care Psychology and an international research internship in the Netherlands. In addition to research, presenting her results at national and international conferences, Katarina also mentors students and popularizes the topic of chronotypes and sleep.
